You can reach Ioannina

by bus

by regular intercity bus services from Athens, Thessaloniki, Igoumenitsa, Patra and other Greek cities (http://www.ktelioannina.gr).

by car

From Athens (411 km): you can take Olympia motorway from Athens to Patras and then Ionia motorway from Patras to Ioannina (travel time: 4.5 hours)

From Thessaloniki (260 km): you can take Egnatia motorway from Thessaloniki to Ioannina (travel time: 2.5 hours)

by plane

there are two air flights daily from and to Athens (travel time: 1 hour)
