Ioannina is the capital and largest city of Epirus, an administrative region in north-western Greece. It lies at an elevation of approximately 500 meters above sea level, on the western shore of lake Pamvotis. It is just 2,5 hours from Thessaloniki via the Egnatia Highway, and from Athens it can be reached via Patras, on the wonderful route over the Rio Antirrio Bridge (approximately 5 hours).
Kindly note that Ioannina city is approximately 2hours 15’ (250 km) distance drive from Thessaloniki airport via the new Egnatia High way (the biggest motorway in Greece completed in 2009). The trip is very convenient thanks to this high way and in the same time very interesting as it traverses the mountainous Greek regions of Epirus and Macedonia, crossing the Pindos and Vermio mountain ranges surrounded by abundant natural beauty.
* In case you choose to reach Ioannina via Thessaloniki airport, please contact the Macedonia Intercity Bus Station (tel. +30 231 059 5400) to get informed about itineraries, or you may choose to travel by taxi, available right outside the airport.
Ioannina is connected with the Athens International Airport (Athens city). There are two flights every day from Athens International Airport to Ioannina with Aegean Airlines. The duration of the flight is 45 minutes. The city is served by the airport of Ioannina King Pyrros Airport, 4 km away from the city centre and the congress venue.

Requests will be served on a first-come, first-served, space-available basis. We strongly advise all interested parties to request for accommodation as soon as possible.
The Organizing-Administrative Bureau will not be able to guarantee tickets after 10/04/2016.
