Official languages of the Conference are English and Greek.
Conference Center "Karolos Papoulias" University of Ioannina includes:
1 Main Auditorium of 452 seats.
The main auditorium, located on the 1st floor, will be used for the needs of the conference.
2 Conference Halls of 94 seats.
One of the two halls is also booked for the needs of the conference.
One of the two halls is located on the 1st floor and the other one on the ground floor.
4 Meeting Hall (3 of 10 people and 1 of 25 people)
Exhibition Hall 489 m2/ Poster Exhibition Hall
The Exhibition Hall on the ground floor which is directly connected to the Main Entrance will accommodate the Exhibition of the Conference. In the same area the Posters will be posted. Also, the Secretariat will be operating in the same area throughout the duration of the Conference.
Additional Exhibition Area 200 m2 is also provided on the mezzanine and is located in the immediate vicinity of the Foyer Ground.
Access to Congress Centre from the road is facilitated by four steps and two ramps for PRM, while the Entrance communicates directly with the Exhibition Hall through two steps and a ramp for PRM.
From the city center:
-By taxi from the central bus station to the University which costs about 8,00 €.
- By taxi available upon call from anywhere in the city. Radio Taxis Phone: +30 26510 46777.
- You can also get transferred by bus that serves the route to the University every 10 minutes from the central bus station below the town clock or the bus station across the Courthouse.
City buses: No. 16 & No. 17
Ticket price: 1.70 € / transition
From Ioannina airport:
By bus to the city center – “PLATEIA” (every 30 minutes). Then you will have to change bus, heading to the University (No. 16 & No. 17) or by taxi which costs approximately 10,00 €.
From the Intercity Bus Station of Ioannina:
By taxi from the bus terminal to the University which costs approximately € 10,00.
Scheduled transfer services for the needs of the delegates from a Central Point of Ioannina to the Conference Centre of the University and vice versa.
During the conference and for the needs of the delegates shuttle bus services will be daily provided from the city center of Ioannina to the Conference Centre of the University and vice versa.
The exact timetables will be defined upon completion of the scientific program.
The aim is to serve the transfer of the delegates who will choose to stay in the city's various hotels.
More information on schedules and on the recommended hotels for the settlement of residence will be posted in the near future.
